For two years, (1957 - 1959), Gaberbocchus had a Common Room in a basement in Formosa Street in Maida Vale. It was a centre for artists and scientists to meet and to exchange ideas. There were lectures about cybernetics, mathematics, art and poetry; there were science films and Live New Departures. People came and listened and talked, drank wine and ate spaghetti.
