2012 is an epoch of time denoting the end of the 26,000-year cycle called the precession of the equinox. Based on the geometry of this precessional cycle, ‘Journey home through the constellations’ is a holographic performance depicting the passing of time on a cosmological scale. The creation of the world was mythologically seen as the dance of God; the circumbulation of the stars and constellations of the planets, a mirror of the original creation. Re-creating the rhythmic movement of the celestial symphony, the artist traces the path of the three intersecting galactic planes as they journey towards alignment.
