The Kinetica Art Fair 2012 launch event will feature a series of spectacular performances on the Musion stage, including:
New Opera Hero
The 2011 winners of the MAMAs Grand Award with a spellbinding new performance specially created for Kinetica Art Fair 2012. N.O.H. redefine the term ‘band’ – amalgamating visual and sonic art, with a strong sense of purpose in trying to change the way art and music performance is perceived.
Holotronica
Stuart Warren-Hill from Holotronica recently performed at onedotzero festival at the BFI, and The Lowry Manchester in 2011. At Kinetica Art Fair 2012 he will preview some of tracks from his forthcoming 3D Blu-Ray album release and 3D holographic tour.
Dfuse
Dfuse’s audiovisual art has toured all over the world. At Kinetica Art Fair 2012 they will show the Cylinder series, a project experimenting with the structural qualities of moving light, creating a series of short films using organic and generative sources.
Gaelle Berton
Gaëlle Berton won the MAMAs 2009 Award for Open Source Art. This new performance is an “interactive music video” for the song “Dreamdust” by Renn. It uses Kinect technology as a performance for two performers, and tells the story of someone in a daze through the haze of smoking, the feelings of someone evaporating as well as the idea of someone in a heavenly place, their head in the stars.
